Types of Membership
Professional Membership
This includes all Working Pilots, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Flight Attendants, Mechanics, Airline Support Staff, etc. It also includes students in professional aviation fields who are over the age of 25 at the time of training. New members will receive a welcome package, and access to all our social media groups which will connect them with a wide group of aviation professionals.
General Membership
This category is for those that are not aviation professionals but are aviation enthusiast that want to participate in UPN events and help further the UPN mandate. Benefits are the same as the aviation professionals members.
Student Membership
This includes persons 25 years of age or younger that are involved in full time training for an aviation career at a recognized institution, and is not employed at the time. These members will receive a reduced welcome package, but will still have access to our social media groups and a wide network of aviation professionals.
Young Urban Pilots Membership
This includes youth aged 9-15 that have participated in our summer camps and mentorship programs. These members will have access to our aviation professionals, who will provide advice and guidance towards helping you achieve a career in aviation.
Corporate Sponsorship
This category is for corporations that believe in what we are doing here at UPN and want to help further our mandate. This provides support for our programs through their membership dues. Corporations can also provide additional support specifically for our scholarship programs. This type of membership allows companies to be associated with UPN and the positive work that we do in the communities.
